WLT Charitable Programs

In 2007, Barbara and Ed Wilson invited their employees to participate in the newly minted WLT Charitable Program by promising that WLT would match their donations dollar for dollar. At the beginning of each year, we canvass our staff asking for charities that they would like to see supported. We support international, local, conservation, and peace charities whose main focus is in the areas of education, children, or health.

During the summers, many of our workshop participants have also been here during a scheduled luncheon and have not only attended the luncheon, but have donated as well. We have had the opportunity to support some wonderful charities, and have heard and learned from speakers who opened our eyes to the needs of those less fortunate than us.

We have enjoyed much success with this program. To date, our charitable donations have exceeded $40,000.00 and we expect to be able to continue this program for many years.
