Registration Process and Deadline
After completing a course part, you must access the pertinent credit registration form from the
Fitchburg State University website at www.fitchburgstate.edu/registrar/wilson.cfm.
You will be registering directly with FSU, and course fees will be paid directly to FSU. There are
three pieces of information you should keep in mind as you consider applying for graduate credit.
1. Technically, you have 60 days after completing each course part to submit the credit registration
form. (Note: The 60 days allowed for registering for Practicum course credits begins on the date the
WRS Level I Certificate is issued by Wilson Language Training.)
2. However, the Fitchburg registrar only accepts submissions between the 1st and 15th of any
month. (Therefore, if you complete a course part on May 23, for example, you would technically be
able to register for credit until July 23. But the registrar only accepts the form through July 15, and
so that is the deadline.)
3. If you wish to earn credits in a particular semester, keep in mind that credit will be earned for the
semester in which the registration form is processed. Grade reports and transcripts will reflect the
following college course semesters if received within the dates listed:
Fall Semester |
Registrations received between September 1st and December 15th |
Spring Semester |
Registrations received between January 2nd and May 15th |
Summer Session |
Registrations received between June 1st and June 15th |
Summer Session 2 |
Registrations received between July 1st and August 15th |
