In subsequent years of implementation, only student consumables need to be replenished. Explore the sections below on Teacher and Student Materials to learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Materials Overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Just Words Teacher\u2019s Kit provides teachers with all the resources they need to focus on classroom instruction and make learning visible and explicit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion gutena-accordion-block gutena-accordion-block-14bb4f-8e is-layout-flow wp-block-gutena-accordion-is-layout-flow\" data-single=\"true\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel gutena-accordion-block__panel\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-title gutena-accordion-block__panel-title\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-title-inner\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:0px\">Just Words Teacher Kit<\/h6>\n<div class=\"trigger-up-down\"><div class=\"horizontal\"><\/div><div class=\"vertical\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-gutena-accordion-panel-content gutena-accordion-block__panel-content\"><div class=\"gutena-accordion-block__panel-content-inner\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/store.wilsonlanguage.com\/-just-words-teachers-kit-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Teacher\u2019s Kit<\/a>&nbsp;includes the following materials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Instructor Manual<\/strong>\u00a0provides daily support for teachers with easy-to-follow instructions and day-by-day learning plans. It includes controlled text resources for each of the 14 Units. Two Bonus Units are also incorporated into the manual. Membership to the online Wilson Academy\/Just Words Learning Community is included with the manual at no charge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sound Cards<\/strong>\u00a0are used to drill sounds and teach word structure by manipulating word parts. Sound combinations, consonant, and vowel phonemes are printed on one side; keywords and pronunciations are on the reverse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Word Cards<\/strong>\u00a0are flashcards that contain\u00a0Demonstration Words,\u00a0Nonsense Words, and Prefixes\/Roots. Demonstration Words include a student-friendly definition on the back. Prefix and Latin Root cards have a definition and keyword illustration on the back.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>High Frequency Word Cards<\/strong>\u00a0are flashcards of high frequency and irregular words for reading and spelling practice. Words with irregular patterns or untaught word patterns are taught to be recognized and spelled quickly and easily.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Suffix and Syllable Frames<\/strong>\u00a0are dry-erasable, magnetic frames for demonstrating and practicing multisyllabic words and words with suffixes. Twenty yellow suffix frames and four blank, white syllable frames are included.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Student Challenge Phrase Kit<\/strong>\u00a0are laminated tally sheets for teachers to easily track miscues while a student is reading phrases and stories for charting and monitoring progress in each Unit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Digital Timer<\/strong>\u00a0is used for charting,\u00a0<em>Just Start!<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Progress Check<\/em>\u00a0activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The<strong>\u00a0Reference Charts<\/strong>\u00a0are eight posters (Basic Keywords, Welded Sounds, Mark My Words, Vowel Sounds, R-Controlled Vowels, Vowel Teams, Spelling Options, and Syllable Types) for classroom reference. They are assembled in a portable, desktop flip chart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Magnetic Strips\u00a0<\/strong>may be affixed to media for easy manipulation on ferrous surfaces.
