Jennifer D’Aoust, Ed.D., W.D.T., W.C.T., brings over 25 years of educational experience to her work as a literacy advisor with Wilson Language Training®. She has a bachelor of science in special education from the University of Connecticut, a master’s degree in educational leadership from Lynn University, and she earned a doctorate in special education from The University of Florida. Her research focused on the lived experiences of adults with dyslexia who identify as successful in adulthood. Jennifer is a credentialed presenter and trainer for Fundations®, Just Words®, and the Wilson Reading System®. She has served as a teacher, curriculum specialist, assistant principal, manager of curriculum and assessment of Exceptional Student Education, and director of Exceptional Student Education in two very large school districts in Florida. Most recently, she worked on the James Patterson Literacy Challenge team at The University of Florida.
