Overview
Esperanza® Intervención is an Orton-Gillingham based program that was the first comprehensive, research-based Spanish literacy intervention program in the world.
It delivers explicit, systematic, and cumulative instruction across all components of literacy: phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, oral language, comprehension, spelling, and writing.
Built in Spanish (not translated from English), it helps students develop proficient literacy skills in their primary language, supporting biliteracy and long-term academic success.
Spanish- speaking students in grades 1-5 who have dyslexia or other language-based disorders
Instruction is designed for small groups of 1-6 students, allowing for targeted, responsive teaching.
