The Wilson Way

Commuity outreach

Wilson Language Training® believes in the importance of community engagement and supporting worthy organizations to help make the world a better place. Below is a sampling of our Community Outreach efforts; organizations that we support may change year-to-year.

Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day, Wilson® staff volunteer in our local communities by planting greenery, collecting trash, and managing overgrown brush. By clearing debris and nurturing the greenery of our local parks and town centers, Wilson aims to make the community a better, healthier place.

We are also dedicated to being green on the Wilson campus. We have solar-powered energy, use water stations instead of bottled water, and purchase green cleaning products for the office.

A group of people, all wearing matching gray t-shirts, pose for a photo during a community cleanup event. Some hold yellow garbage bags filled with trash, while others have gloves and trash picker tools. Trees and bushes are in the background.

Book drives

To encourage children to read during the summer months, employees have donated more than 5,000 books to the Worcester Public Schools.

Library window decorated with colorful owls, a BOOK COUNT! poster showing 39, and the text Whooo LOVES to Read?? Wilson Does!! in large blue and green letters. Outside, a courtyard with a stone wall and windowed building is visible.

Food drives

Throughout the year, our employees contribute to local food pantries to help those who are struggling in our communities.

A table by a window is filled with canned goods and non-perishable food items collected for a food drive. In the background, snow is visible outside. The window is decorated with banners and the text Souper Bowl XLVIII along with football-themed decals.

The giving tree

During the holiday season, our employees generously contribute to local organizations that provide holiday presents and/or warm coats for members of the community who may need them.

A decorated Christmas tree stands in an office lobby surrounded by a large number of wrapped holiday presents in various festive designs and colors. In the background, a banner with text and large windows are visible, showcasing a green landscape outside.

Charity lunches

Wilson and its employees have donated more than $55,000 to various charities selected by employees. Representatives from a selected charity are invited for lunch and provide a brief presentation about their work. Here are just a few charities our employees have contributed to – with a 100% company match!
