Higher Education Partners

Pursue a master’s degree and gain Wilson Reading System® (WRS) certification at the same time.

Earn Graduate Credit Through Our Partners

Wilson Language Training® (WLT) collaborates with several colleges and universities that share its focus on preparing teachers to work successfully with struggling readers. Select colleges and universities in this partnership offer graduate credit for Wilson Reading System® (WRS) professional learning.

Graduate credits are available for eligible Fundations®, Just Words®, or WRS professional learning through our relationship with Fitchburg State University. Anyone who completes the qualifying coursework is eligible to apply for graduate credit. Matriculation in a degree program is not required.

Our Higher Education Academic Partners

If you are interested in pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree, our Higher Education Academic Partners allow educators to pursue that degree while gaining WRS Level I Certification as part of their graduate-level program. Participants gain the knowledge, skills, and expertise to meet the needs of students with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. Those who have already completed WRS professional learning may be able to transfer credits. These options may also help educators fulfill state certification requirements for licensure. Please check with your state to learn more about respective requirements.

Current Partners

We are pleased to partner with the following higher education institutions that incorporate WRS Level I Certification as part of their graduate programs.
