We may need to verify your identity when you contact us. In connection with your request, we may request up to three additional data points from you, against information that we already have about you in our records and that we have determined to be reliable, for purposes of verifying your identity. If we do so, we will not use that information for any purpose other than verification. Our process for verifying your identity will depend on the sensitivity (as determined by us) of the personal information that you ask us to access, correct, or delete. If we cannot verify your identity to a sufficient level of certainty to respond to your request, we will let you know promptly and explain why we cannot verify your identity. In some situations, we will require you to sign a declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the individual whose personal information is the subject of the request. You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period.
Where applicable, these requests can be submitted by an authorized agent through the channels described above in accordance with Applicable State Law. In these instances, we will take steps to verify the authorized agent’s authority to act on your behalf. Depending on the evidence provided, we may still need to separately reach out to you to confirm the authorized agent has permission to act on your behalf and to verify your identity in connection with the request.
We will acknowledge receipt of your request to know, to delete, and to correct information within ten (10) days of receipt of your request. We will respond to your request within 45 days (unless a shorter time period is mandated by Applicable State Law); if we need additional time, we will notify you that we need up to another 45 days to respond, unless a shorter time period is mandated by Applicable State Law. Responses to requests for specific information about you will be provided using a format that is readily usable, including by mailing you a paper copy or providing an electronic copy to you by email.
