At Wilson Language Training®, we understand the importance of continued learning for professional growth and engagement.
Wilson’s conferences feature expert speakers from the field, breakout sessions with practical information geared for each audience, and opportunities to share experiences and ideas with peers.
Each conference is designed to be relevant to its specific audience:
- Wilson® Certified Teacher Conference: This conference to enhance knowledge and practice is intended for Wilson Reading System® (WRS) certified educators and is typically held every other year. Those who were unable to attend in 2018 may be interested in our WRS 4th Edition Institute. The next conference will be held in Boston on July 13-14, 2020.
- Annual Trainer Meeting: This annual meeting serves to update Wilson® Credentialed Trainers.
- Leadership Conference: This conference is organized for administrators in schools, districts, and organizations who are collaborating with Wilson.
The Alliance Conference will take place on September 27-28, 2019. Organized by the Alliance for Accreditation and Certification of Dyslexia Specialists, a group comprised of the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA), the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE), the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC), and Wilson Language Training. The conference will focus on topics related to the identification, remediation, and scientific basis of language-based learning differences that impact reading and writing.
Wilson also participates in conferences and exhibits across the country hosted by other organizations. See our Presentations and Exhibits Schedule for opportunities to explore Wilson’s materials in person and chat with our expert staff.
